To: Lee Russell The following comments need to be addressed before a permit will be issued. Please respond to this office. This is a preliminary review pending submittal of plans. 1) It is understood that the proposed fill will be approximately 13,000 cubic meters. This places it as an "engineered grading" project and must follow all requirements of Sec.3309.4. Sec.3309.3 2) Plans for surface and subsurface and any drainage devices are required. Also an estimated runoff of the area is required. Sec.3309.4 #4 3) Maximum slope shall be no steeper than 1 Vertical to 2 Horizontal. Sec.3313.5 4) Show how new slope will be protected from erosion. Sec. 3316.1 5) How is surface runoff controlled at toe of slope at the Safeway elevation? Sec 3314.3 6) Show existing drainage system to Island Lake and how it will handle the increased runoff from the fill area.
