SUBJECT: Lot 10, Block 3, Elderberry Heights Subdivision, Geese Pond
Drainings
On August 12, 1985, Mrs. Nygren, owner of the subject property, filed a
complaint about poultry waste and feathers coming out of her storm sewer into
her front yard. Inspection confirmed this.
The source of the sewage is Lots 9A, Block 3, Russell Estates Second Addition,
Len Grothe's duck pond, which has been there for years. There is not a zoning
violation here, but a health issue. Therefore, on August 13, 1985, the
complaint was turned over to Arnie Shryock, Department of Environmental
Conservation, for investigation.
