The presiding officer said that he had a request by the school district for testimony by Dennis Murray. Dennis Murray stated that the School Board met and discussed the proposed actions by the assembly regarding this bid award. He said they had some concerns that the motion was not to go with the alternates which were part of the original proposal. He said they understood the alternates were relatively expensive, however, the School Board considered the alternates as meritorious and hoped the borough would give them consideration at some future point. He stated that the School Board was in agreement with the action proposed but wanted the assembly to recognize that the alternates such as domestic hot water replacement, the bleachers, and the gym floor are important also.
