ORDINANCE NUMBER 73-21-0
AN ORDINANCE REZONING NORTH CHINIAK SUBDIVISION FROM
CONSERVATION TO UNCLASSIFIED.
WHEREAS, AS 29.33.090 empowers the Borough to enact a
zoning ordinance and provides for its administration, enforcement
and amendment, and,
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough has pursuant thereto
adopted Chapter 5 of its Code of Ordinances and Resolutions, which

rovides for planning and zoning provisions and procedure, and,
WHEREAS, according to the comprehensive plan adopted by
the Kodiak Island Borough the North Chiniak Subdivision, Kodiak
Recording Precinct, Third Judicial District, State of Alaska, is
zoned "Conservation", and,
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough Planning and Zoning
Commission on August 22, 1973, has approved on its own initiative
a reclassification from "Conservation" to Unclassified", and the
ssembly being fully advised in the premises and it is determined
that the public necessity, convenience, general welfare and good
zoning practice requires the said reclassification,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Borough Assembly of
the Kodiak Island Borough that the North Chiniak Subdivision des-
cribed as follows:
