Dear Mrs. Heinrichs;
Re Home Occupation. Lot_lA,-Block I, U.S. SurveY2-84-a7::
This letter is to verify the conversation we had in early July concerning the
proposal you have for a home occupation.
Your property lies in the Two-Family Residential District (R2) which allows
home occupations as a permitted use. Borough Code defines a home occupation
as "an accessory use of service character customarily conducted within a dwel-
ling by the residents thereof, which is clearly secondarily to the use of the
dwelling for living purposes and does not change the character thereof and
does not involve more than one paid assistant." The baking and selling of
breads, pastries, desserts, and the selling of beverages is considered a secon-
dary use in your case and, therefore, qualifies as a home occupation. '
However, if it becomes evident that your home occupation causes noise, nui-
sance, traffic, and/or parking problems; the administrative decision to allow
this home occupation could be rescinded.
Should you have any questions, please call.
Sincerely,
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT
Bud Cassidy
