Dear Resident:
In response to an inquiry by the Post Office about addressing in your area, the Kodiak Island
Borough discovered that the address for the above referenced parcel does not conform to the
Borough's code for addressing (Code Section 15.32.050), and with the KIB Planning and Zoning
Commissions Resolution 2002-06A (naming the 20 foot wide alley right-of-way to Lechner
Way).
We found it necessary to correct and verify the addresses in that area, therefore attached you will
find all the addresses for the area within East Addition, Blocks 54 &. 56 and selected lots within
Block 52. Other agenicies that have been advised of this change are: City of Kodiak Public
Works, KEA, GCI, ACS, Alaska State Troopers, City of Kodiak Building Officials, and the
Kodiak Police and Fire Departments.
