Dear Mr. Leite:
We have received information that the subject survey for your Open —to —Entry
claim has been approved and recorded in the Kodiak Recording District
on May 12, 1980.
The lands will be appraised as soon as the work load permits, and you
will be advised of the fair market value which will be established as
of the date you filed on the land, February 8, 1973.
Unused lease rental monies prorated as of the date that the survey
plat was recorded, will be credited to your sales contract or purchase
price of the land in the amount of $29.66. In the event you receive a

THIS INDENTURE made and entered into this 8th day of February , 19 74 by
and between the STATE OF ALASKA, through the Director of the Division of Lands, with the
consent and approval of the Commissioner of the Department of Natural Resources, acting for
and on its behalf under and pursuant to AS 38.05, as amended, and the regulations promulgated
thereunder, as amended or hereafter amended, hereinafter referred to as the LESSOR: and

hereinafter referred to as the LESSEE:
WITNESSETH, that whereas the Lessor has classified the lands herein demised as:
OPen -to -Entry lands on June 15 19 71 ,
pursuant to AS 38.05, as amended; and
WHEREAS, the Lessor has caused the lands herein demised to be appraised and such
appraisal was made and approved on or after N/A , 19 ; and
WHEREAS, the Lessor has caused a notice of intent to lease the lands herein demised
to be published as required by law or caused notices of intent to lease to be posted as re-
quired by law; and
WHEREAS, an auction of the herein demised property was held at the time and place
designated by notice and said sale was approved by the Director of the Division of Lands,
Department of Natural Resources, State of Alaska:
NOW THEREFOR, the Lessor has agreed to let and does hereby let and demise to the
Lessee, and the Lessee has agreed to take and does hereby take from the Lessor all that lot,
piece, or parcel of land more particularly bounded and described, as follows:

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said demised premises for a term of FIVE
( 1 ) years commencing on the 8th day of February , 19. 13 and ending at
12 o'clock midnight on the 7th day of February , 19--, unless
sooner terminated as hereinafter provided.
The Lessee shall pay to the Lessor rental as follows: Equal annual payments,
in advance, on or before the 8th day of February of every year during
said term at the rate of FORTY AND NO /100- Dollars
($ 40.00 ) per annum ; such payments to be subject to adjustment at each five -
year interval from the effective date hereof, if the lease term hereof exceeds five years,
such adjustment to be based primarily upon a reappraised annual rental value of Land in a
state of improvement similar to that of the land described herein at the time this lease
was entered into.
It is agreed that the covenants, terms and agreements herein contained shall be
binding upon the successors and assigns of the respective parties hereto.

Commencing at a point on the ease bans: of the mouth of the stream
which fleas into Ugak Bay at the west border of Section 8, Township
32 South, Bade 21 West, Seward Meridian, as shorn on the attached
map, Corner O1, a 4" s 4" squared 3 foot wooden post; thence easter-
ly, along the mean high tide, a distance of 228 feet to Corner 02,
a 2" x 4" squared 3 foot wooden post; thence south 100 west a dis-
tance of 223 feet to Corner 03, a 2" x 4" squared 3 foot wooden post;
thence north 800 west a distance of 248 feet to Corner 04, a 4" x 4"
squared 3 foot wooden post located on the east bank of the stream;
thence northeasterly, along the right bank meander line of the
stream, a distance of 172 feet to Corner #1, the point of beginning
of this metes and bounds description.
Located in Section 7 & 8, Township 32 South, Range 21 West, Seward
Meridian, containing 1.1 acres, more or less, as per attached plat.
Subject to a reservation for right -of -way 50° on each side of the
section line if, upon survey, the section line easement is located
on the above - described lands.
Also, subject to ADL 51728, 50' right - of-way along stream.
