Description of Proposed Action:
Leisnoi Inc. has hired a professional planting crew.
The crew contracted for this summer (2015) to plant spruce seedlings in the Chiniak Area. (See attached
maps). The crew is familiar with Kodiak, and has been contracted the last 2 years for the same task.
For the amount of seedlings to be planted for the allotted time, a man -camp will be established in T30S,
R 18W.
It is logistically beneficially to be near the planting sights (reduce waste of time and security). Some
vandalism in the area has been reported to the troops this past year, which is concern for our seedlings.
The environmental foot print will be minimal. Waste that will be generated will be brought into town for
proper disposal.
Leisnoi Inc. has researched State requirements to insure that we meet all regulation.
We again are looking forward to a successful planting season.
Thank you,
LEISN 01
