FY2015 -15 Manager Cassidy Assembly Special Projects Support Christiansen 01/08/2015 01/08/2015 A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY ADOPTING A 2015 KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH COMMUNITIES STATE LEGISLATIVE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS PRIORITY LIST WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough is a regional government representing the citizens and communities of the Kodiak Island Archipelago, and 18 WHEREAS, these communities include the citizens and visitors of the Kodiak Island 19 Borough which is a second class borough, the home rule city of Kodiak, the second class 20 cities of Akhiok, Larsen Bay, Old Harbor, Ouzinkie, and Port Lions; and the unincorporated 21 community of Karluk; and 22 23 WHEREAS, the governing bodies of these communities have developed a list of 24 improvement and infrastructure needs for their citizens and visitors; and 25 26 WHEREAS, Community Capital Improvement Project (CIP) needs are identified and 27 prioritized by each of the communities and forwarded to the Kodiak Island Borough for 28 inclusion into an island wide list to be considered by the Alaska Legislature; and 29 30 WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough as the regional government is supportive of all 31 identitified community capital improvement project needs. 32 33 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND 34 BOROUGH that the Kodiak Island Borough Communities 2015 State Legislative Capital 35 Improvement Projects Priority Lists are as follows: 36 37 38 Kodiak Island Borough 39 1.
