As we discussed, the size of your project is too small to be regulated under EPA's asbestos NESHAP program. No

John,
As discussed on the phone last Friday, here is a general description of the asbestos abatement for the KANA building
located at 2414 Mill Bay Rd. Kodiak, AK 99615.
Bulk Samples were taken by Derek Lucas of Satori Group and sent to LA Testing For bulk asbestos fiber analysis by
method EPA 600 -R- 93/116 found positive results for asbestos in one of the samples. The sample was taken from a 12'x
12' room with sheet vinyl flooring containing 25% Chrysotile. The total square footage of the room is 144 Sq Ft, under
the required 160 Sq Ft reporting regulation.
ECS Inc. will properly remove and dispose of the asbestos containing Material.
