Assembly Regular Meeting
December 19, 2013
A regular meeting of the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly was held on Thursday, December 19,
2013, in the Assembly Chambers of the Kodiak Island Borough Building, 710 Mill Bay Road.
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m.
The invocation was given by Sergeant Major Dave Blacketer of the Salvation Army. Chairperson
Lynch led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Roll call was conducted and present were Chairperson Chris Lynch and Assembly members
Dave Kaplan and Mel Stephens. Absent were Mayor Jerrol Friend and Assembly members
Carol Austerman, Tuck Bonney, Aaron Griffin, and Frank Peterson, Jr. Staff members present
were Borough Manager Bud Cassidy, Deputy Clerk Jessica Kilborn, and Assistant Clerk Angela
MacKenzie.
A quorum was not established and Chairperson Lynch announced due to the lack of a quorum
the meeting would be adjourned.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:33 p.m.
