Others Attending: MBRSA residents -Amanda Bowers, Andy Dano, Doug Pengilly,Jamie Godwin,
Martha McKinney, Pennie & Frank Fish, Mark Withrow, Doug and Sandy Mathers, Fritz Miller,Jean
Dixon, Paul Zimmer and Tia Leiber, Dave Allen. KIB Staff- Bud Cassidy, Maya Daurio, Dave Conrad.
Purpose
Monashka Bay Road Service Area is partially responsible for Green Belt admin separating Landfill
from homes along Marmot Drive (per KIB Ordinance 98-06). Due to Riffs proposed rezoning of
Landfill and Greenbelt,local residents are concerned about environmental quality of greenbelt and
a tour was suggested by several residents,to further discuss concerns and raise awareness among
KIB Staff and Assembly,soon to vote on rezoning issue.
Comments
TL-What a good turn-out... 20+ people, counting Dave at the landfill-cookie
stop (thanks Marty!);And we hauled out some trash too.
Great day for a hike and I believe useful for our understanding of the
landfill expansion project(and future options),and need for a "buffer"
greenbelt...Thank you to all involved!
