10 A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY
11 APPOINTING THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ATTORNEY

13 WHEREAS, KIBC 2.65.020 states that the Assembly shall appoint the borough attorney
14 by resolution; and
15
16 WHEREAS, after soliciting request for proposals, the Assembly interviewed the following
17 firms: Wohlforth, Brecht, Cartledge, & Brooking; and Levesque Law Group, LLC; and
18
19 WHEREAS, 'the Assembly directed staff to start the negotiation process with Levesque
20 Law Group, LLC.

22 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK
23 ISLAND BOROUGH THAT:

25 Section 1: This resolution herewith names Levesque Law Group, LLC as the Borough
26 Attorney.

28 Section 2: This resolution authorizes the Borough Manager to execute a contract with
29 Levesque Law Group, LLC.
