EXECUTIVE SESSION BRANSON, seconded by ABELL VOTE ON MOTION TO CONVENE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH Special Assembly Meeting February 18, 2003 A special meeting of the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly was held February 18, 2003 in the Kodiak Island Borough Conference Room at 710 Mill Bay Road. The meeting was called to order at 8:47 p.m. comprising a quorum of the Assembly; and Pat Carlson, Borough Manager Nova Javier, Deputy Clerk Laura Casey, Assistant Clerk Greg Razo Nancy Wells Wayne Stevens moved to excuse Assemblymembers Bonney and Stevens. MOTION CARRIED Unanimous Voice Vote CONSIDERATION OF MATTERS FOR THE SPECIAL MEETING CONSIDERATION OF MATTERS EXECUTIVE Litigation: Roe Vs. Kodiak Island Borough, Simeonoff, and McNair. SESSION Assemblymember Razo requested to recuse himself from participation. moved to convene into ROE VS. KIB, executive session for SIMEONOFF, AND settlement discussions for the MCNAIR Roe vs. Kodiak Island Borough, Simeonoff, and McNair, matters the immediate knowledge of which would clearly have an adverse effect upon the finances of the Borough. Ayes: Abell, Branson, Heinrichs, Wells Noes: None SPECIAL MEETING ROLL CALL Special Assembly Meeting Volume XXVIII February 18, 2003 Page 19 Absent: Bonney, Stevens, Razo MOTION CARRIED Unanimous At 8:47 p.m., Deputy Mayor Heinrichs recessed the special meeting into executive session and invited Manager Carlson and the clerk's office staff to attend. At 9:16 p.m., Deputy Mayor Heinrichs reconvened the special meeting and announced that no action would be taken as a result of the executive session.
