Assembly was held October 25, 2001 in the Kodiak
Island Borough conference room at 710 Mill Bay Road.
The meeting was called to order at 9:24 p.m.

A. Resolution No. 2001 -46 Supporting
Recommendations that Imports of Chilean
Farmed Salmon be Restricted During Alaska's
Primary Salmon Harvest Season of June
through September.
RAZO, moved to adopt
seconded by ABELL Resolution No. 2001 -46.
Manager Carlson said that the value of Alaskan Salmon
decreased significantly due to Chilean Salmon
imports.

At 9:40 p.m. Deputy Mayor Heinrichs recessed the
special meeting into executive session and invited
Manager Carlson to attend.
At 10:08 p.m. Deputy Mayor Heinrichs reconvened the
special meeting and announced no action would be
taken as a result of the executive session.

There being no further business to come before the
Assembly, the meeting adjourned at 10:09 p.m.
