Manager Carlson said this was required to participate in
the Shared Fisheries Business Tax Program. He felt this
program definitely fell within the Legislation's intent.
In response to Assemblymember Stevens, Manager Carlson
said last year the City of Kodiak received $600,184 and
the Borough received $907,428 in standard raw fish tax.
Assemblymember Heinrichs said unanimous adoption was
required of the participants in order for the resolution
to become effective.
Manager Carlson added that if a municipality chose not to
adopt this formula, the process would require the long
