BOROUGH VACATING A PLAT KNOWN AND DESCRIBED AS LOTS ONE (1) THROUGH
SIX (6), BLOCK THREE (3), NEW KODIAK SUBDIVISION AND APPROVING THE
REPLAT OF THE SAME
WHEREAS, the ALASKA STATE HOUSING AUTHORITY, CITY OF
KODIAK, NORMAN C. SUTLIFF and WILTON T. WHITE, have petitioned the
Kodiak Island Borough Assembly and the Kodiak Island Borough Plan-
ning and Zoning Commission for the vacation of a plat of Lots One
(1) through Six (6) of Block Three (3) of the New Kodiak Subdivisio
originally recorded in Plat 67 -11, Serial No. 67 -436 on April 27,
1967, and requesting that the same be replatted and have stated
that the vacation and replatting is necessary to provide access to
the State Highway from these lots by eliminating the slope which
presently exists and therefore that the public interests would be
best served if the plat above - referred to were vacated and replatte.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the plat of Lots
One (1) through Six (6) of Block Three (3) of the New Kodiak Sub-
division which was originally recorded in Plats 67 -11, Serial No.
67 -436 on April be a

replatted according to the replat filed herein which provides acce s
to the State Highway from these lots by eliminating the slope whic
presently exists and that a copy of this resolution be filed with
the Kodiak District Recorder for notation to be attached to the
plat vacated and a copy of this resolution be filed with the Kodia'
District Recorder for the replat indicating the vacation of the
original plat and the filing and approval of the replat all in
accordance with Sections 40.15.140 through 40.15.180 Alaska Statut s
and that the Kodiak Island Borough accept all streets, alleys and
easements and all other open spaces dedicated to public purposes
as set forth in said plat pursuant to Chapter 5, Sub - Chapter 4,
Section 6 of the Kodiak Island Borough Code of Ordinances and
Resolutions.
