A RESOLUTION OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH APPOINTING SEATTLE -FIRST NATIONAL BANK AS THE
PRINCIPAL PAYING AGENT FOR THE BOROUGH'S BOND ISSUES
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough was authorized by
the voters to issue bonds for certain Capital Improvements, an
WHEREAS, the National Bank of Alaska, Anchorage
Office has until this time been the principal paying agent for
all bond issues, and
WHEREAS, the National Bank of Alaska, Anchorage Offic
can no longer continue to act in this capacity,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Assembly of
the Kodiak Island Borough does hereby appoint Seattle -First
National Bank as the Principal Paying Agent for the following
Kodiak issues:

A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY
CALLING FOR THE QUESTION OF WHETHER THE BELLS FLATS - RUSSIAN
CREEK SERVICE DISTRICT SHALL PROVIDE FOR ROAD SERVICE TO BE
PLACED ON THE BALLOT AND SETTING A DATE FOR A SPECIAL ELECTIO
TO BE HELD ON MARCH 9, 1976.
BE IT RESOLVED by theAssembly of the Kodiak Island
Borough, State of Alaska, that:
Section 1: A special election shall be held on
March 9th, 1976, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
of said date an that there be submitted to the duly qualifie
residents and voters of Kodiak Island Borough Bells Flats -
Russian Creek Service District the following proposition:
"Shall the Kodiak Island Borough exercise road powers
within the Bells Flats- Russian Creek Service District
including but not limited to construction, repair,
maintenance, and improvements of public roads"

Section 2: The election shall be in accordance with the
laws of the State of Alaska and Title 2 of the KodiakISland
Borough Code of Ordinances and Resolutions.
Section 3: A person who is qualified to vote in Alaska
and the Kodiak Island Borough and is a resident of the Bells
Flats Russian Creek Service District as described:
"Tracts A and B, Bells Flats Alaska Subdivision and Bells Flats
Alaska Subdivision, according to Plat No. 69 -4, filed in Kodiak
Recorders Office on June 12, 1969, Serial No. 69 -684.
Russian Creek Alaska Suh9ivision According to Plat No. 69 -1,
filed in Kodiak Recorders Office on February 24, 1969, serial 69 -20 .
Alaska State Land Survey 72 -11, According to Plat No. 72 -10, filed
in Kodiak Recorders Office on September 29, 1972."

Section 4: For purposes of this election the service
area shall constitute one precinct and the polling place
shall be located at BASE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.
Section 5: Notice of election shall be published not
less than thirty (30) days prior to the election in the form
and manner provided by AS 29.33.290 and Title 2 of the
Kodiak Island Borough Code of Ordinances and Resolutions.
