1985-99 Approving Relocation Costs For High Demand Employees.A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY APPROVING
RELOCATION COSTS FOR HIGH DEMAND EMPLOYEES.
and
WHEREAS, the hiring of certain employees such as a borough clerk and
a data programmer /analyst are highly competitive and these skills are generally
not available locally, and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough must provide relocation costs in
order to be competitive for the skills required for these jobs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
that relocation costs for the clerk not to exceed $2,500 and the programmer/
analyst not to exceed $3,750 are approved contingent upon an agreement for
paying these funds back to the Borough if less than one year of employment and
pro -rated during the second year of employment to a zero pay back at the end
of two years.
