1981-75 Establishing A Senior Citizens Steering Committee.KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH RESOLUTION NO. 81 -75 -R A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY ESTABLISHING A SENIOR CITIZENS STEERING COMMITTEE. WHEREAS, the State of Alaska has developed within the Department of Community and Regional Affairs a Division of Housing Assistance, and WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough in a resolution dated June 5, 1981 authorized an application for a grant to survey senior citizen housing and health needs, and WHEREAS, in order to be eligible for planning grants to explore present and future needs of senior citizens as it pertains to housing and health care facilities a Senior Citizen Steering Committee must be established to serve in an active advisory relationship with the Department of Community and Regional Affairs and the Kodiak Island Borough. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly hereby creates and establishes the Senior Citizens Steering Committee with the following members appointed: Ms. Mariane Fitzgerald, Chairperson, Box 536, Kodiak, AK; Dan VanWieringen, Vice Chairman, Box 1187, Kodiak, AK; Father Joseph Kreta, Box 55, Kodiak, AK; Philip Shealy, Box 1246, Kodiak, AK; Joseph Terry, Box 2762, Kodiak, AK; Ms. Helen Nelson, Box 177, Port Lions, AK; Tom Azumbrado, Box 172, Kodiak, AK; Ms. Gladys Chichenoff, Box 761, Kodiak, AK and Ms. Alice Panamarioff, Box 315, Kodiak, AK.
