1981-40 Appointing An Authorized Representative To Inspect, Secure And Sign For Surplus federal Property For Use By Kodiak Island Borough.non-federal public agencies for their use; and
WHEREAS, guidelines for the Federal Surplus Personal Property Donation
Program requires the designation of an authorized representative of the Kodiak
Island Borough for the purposes of inspecting, securing and signing for surplus
property for use by Kodiak Island Borough; and
WHEREAS, said designated representative is empowered to delegate the
authority authorized to him to such personnel as he considers reasonable and
necessary to accomplish these purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
does hereby designate Philip C. Shealy, Borough Manager, the representative of
KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
RESOLUTION NO. 81 -40 -R
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY APPOINTING AN
AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE TO INSPECT, SECURE AND SIGN FOR SURPLUS FEDERAL
PROPERTY FOR USE BY KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH.
WHEREAS, Kodiak Island Borough Assembly is the duly authorized
governing body of Kodiak Island Borough having examined the general terms and
conditions of the Federal Property and Administrative Services Act of 1949, as
amended, wherein such act authorizes the administrator of the General Services
Administration (GSA) to transfer surplus personal property for donation to
the Borough for the purpose of inspecting, securing and signing for surplus
federal property including the execution of such documentation as may be
(required to accomplish same in the interest of the Borough.
