RESOLUTION NO. 81 -28 -R
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY
DECLARING THAT THE EXISTING FORM OF REPRESENTATION AND APPORTION-
MENT MEETS THE STANDARDS OF AS 29.23.021.
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough, in accordance with
AS 29.23.025, which requires that no later than two months after
the official report of a federal decennial census, it shall declare
by resolution whether the existing apportionment of the assembly
meets
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough does declare that
the existing apportionment of the assembly does meet the standards
o f AS 29.23.021, in that its members are elected "at- large ",
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Kodiak Island
Borough Assembly will submit to its voters at its next General
Election the following proposition:
Proposition No. 1
"Shall the Kodiak Island Borough continue
with its present apportionment of the
assembly, in that it consists of seven (7)
members. All seven (7) members are
elected at- large."
