RESOLUTION NO. 81 -11 -R
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ENDORSING THE
PASSAGE OF HB 223 AND REQUESTING THAT SIMILAR LEGISLATION BE IN-
TRODUCED AND ADOPTED BY THE ALASKA STATE SENATE. THIS BILL, IF
ENACTED, ADDRESSES THE CONCERNS EXPRESSED BY THE ASSEMBLY IN THEIR
RESOLUTION NQ. 81 -2 -R OF JANUARY 17, 1981.
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough has met with Com-
missioner Bill Hudson of the Department of Administration, Deputy
Commissioner Dr. Dean Tirador of the Department of Health and
Social Services and Local Government Assistance Director, Mr.
Palmer McCarter concerning options which the local community has

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Assembly stron4

the assembly informed of any progress during the legislative
session.
