Page One, RESOLUTION NO. 69 - - 1 1 : 2 ) WHEREAS, the basis for said petition is that said •roperty lies within the Downtown Urban Renewal Area of the City of odiak and that said plat is necessary to conform to the Urban �• enewal Plan accepted by the City, and WHEREAS, all persons interested were notified that a • ublic hearing would be held on said petition on Wednesday, January 29, 1969, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. in the District Courtroom of the es tate Office Building before the Kodiak Island Borough Planning and Zoning Commission which public hearing was duly noticed and held, copy of the Affidavit of Publication having been filed herein and -t which hearing the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended tha the above- described portion of the plat of Kodiak Townsite, the ortions of the U.S. Surveys shown therein as described above and the portions of the plat of the New Kodiak Subdivision mentioned above, be vacated and replatted, and the Kodiak Island Borough sembly being fully advised in the premises; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that that portion of the Kodiak Townsite, U.S. Survey No. 2537 B; U.S. Survey No. 1780; U.S. Survey No. 1797; U.S. Survey No. 1707; U.S. Survey No. 444 RGM Tract B; U.S. Survey No. 559; U.S. Survey No. 444 RGM Tract D; U.S. Survey No. 1594; U.S. Survey No. 444 RGM Tract F; U.S. Survey o. 444 RGM Tract E; Part of Alaska Tidelands Survey 49; Part of U.S. Survey No. 562, all of which is generally described as: Block Three (3), Lots One (1) through Seven (7), Blocks Four (4),'Five (5), Six (6), Seven (7), Eight (8) except Lots Three (3) through Seven (7) thereof; Nine (9), Ten (10), Eleven (11), Twelve (12), and part of Block Sixteen (16), and Eighteen (18) of the Kodiak Townsite, including the streets, alleys and easements located therein and also portions thereof replatted as New Kodiak Subdivision Blocks Two (2) and Four (4) through Eight (8); Block Three (3) and the streets, alleys and easements shown and located therein; all as shown on a map of a plat of the Kodiak Townsite, Alaska, U.S. Survey No. 2537 - entitled V---`4-n and Re N Kodiak Subdivision Blocks 2 -8; and as shown in Drawing No. Page Two, RESOLUTION NO. 69 -8 -R 1) Be and the same is hereby vacated together with the streets, alleys and easements shown thereon and replatted in accord ance with the replat filed herein and in accordance with Sections 40.15.140 through 40.15.180 Alaska Statutes and that the Kodiak Island Borough accept all streets, alleys and easements and other open spaces dedicated to public purposes as set forth in said replat.
