1969-03 Setting A Delinquency Tax Date For The Second Half Taxes Due in 1969WHEREAS, Chapter 3, Subchapter 1, Section 4A of the Code of Ordinances and Resolutions of the Kodiak Island Borough provides that the second half of the taxes levied in the fiscal year shall be due on the 15th day of October and are delinquent if not paid by the 1st day of November of that year, and WHEREAS, said Section further provides that if the annual levy is made on or after the 1st day of June, the Borough Assembly may by resolution establish a later delinquency date and WHEREAS, the office of the assessor of the Kodiak Island Borough has a number of assessment notices in which it states that the second one - half becomes due October 15th and delinquent after November 15, and it would be in the best financial interest of the Kodiak Island Borough to retain the same date NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the second half of the taxes due on October 15, 1969, shall not be delinquent until after November 15, 1969.
