III. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Andrew provided update on utilities. He said he had met with Duane Hippe and Mark
Mayo, Department of Transportation (DOT) and was assured his concerns would be a
part of the master plan.
Barber asked to meet with Interim Manager Freed. Freed outlined her understanding of
the committee's function and purpose. She noted that there wasn't anything for the
committee to do until the issue of ownership at the State airport had been resolved. In
response to Andrew, Freed noted the Coast Guard base in Alameda, California was
impeding the progress of settling the ownership issue.
Freed felt that once the ownership issue was resolved there would be a need for the
committee and suggested that in the meantime they could meet jointly with the Planning
and Zoning Commission whenever DOT was in town to discuss the master plan.
VII. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 6:35 p.m.
