2003-09-08 Regular MeetingWomen's Bay Service Area Board Regular Meeting Minutes September 8, 2003 CALL TO ORDER 7:10 pm Members Present -Chris Lynch, David Conrad, Spencer Schaeffer, Russ Toms, Kevin Riddle Guests -Dave Rittenhouse Citizen's Comments -Dave R. came to see what progress has been made on the drainage concern in front of his house. The Board gave an update of the work list and the progress made. KEA will lower their power line, we will make a bowl behind the existing mail boxes, we will lower the driveway culvert at Lechner's (to the right), replace the culvert at the flag lot and place it at an angle toward Lechner's. Dave R. also commented on needing brush cutting and shoulder work. The Board informed him it was on the work list. Approval of Minutes -There were no minutes to approve. Old Business Fire Department -After receiving comments from KIB Staffthe Board determined that the job should be rebid with a concise specification. Kevin R. motioned that Dave C. and Russ will create a generic spec addressing bid concerns. Spencer seconded; motion carried. They will submit their specs to the Borough for rebidding. Dave reported that the City did not want contributions for the new flashover trailer just help with maintenance and additional panels. We will step forward when necessary. Road District -The contractor is working on the work list New Business Fire Department - We need to replace the oil burner on the boiler. Dave C. bought new tools for truck maintenance. He also bought 3 intrinsically safe radios with mikes. We received the RCFP grant for communication equipment. The Mutual Aid Agreement with the City needs to be signed and forwarded. F v ~" Road Service Area The Board reviewed Case S03-018 from the P&Z. We had no comment.
