Lots 7,9,10, & 14 Block 5° The appellant in this case states, `~'1''hi.s is church property, and there is no existing law in the state of Alaska requiring the paying of taxes by a church organization on Church property. ~' P,3ro Barr moved, secea~ded by T~ss. Springhill that in view of the Assessors ar~c1 the Attorney°s opinions, the assessment on this Property be adjusted to incluc2e only Lots 7 and 14 of B1ocJc 5, Leite Addition. I'1r. Barr felt that the resttiaVa7. of these tti;~ lots fran church use would not effect the reasonable use of the church Luilding. Mrs.. Hajdu felt that use of ~ 1 these lots as a picric area is not necessary for the reasonable use of the church building. It was further felt that these lots were not required for parlt.ing space. P1Ir. Bullock stated that perhaps the church needed the lots wren the church was built to meet lot size requirements. -:s~s.
