JANUARY 23, 1968
The meeting was called to order on January 23, 1968, at ?:5O p.m.
by Presiding Officer, Jo Hadju, in the courtroom of the Donnelley
Building, Kodiak, Alaska.

Also present were Doug Preston, Clerk-Treasurer, Ralph Valkama,
Borough Assessor, and Jan Netzker taking minutes.
III BOARD OF EQUALIZATI~1
Since there were no appellants who wanted to coma before the
1967 Supplemental Personal Property Board of Equalization, the
Borough Assessor took this time to present to the board a list
of personal property tax bills to be vacated from the roll.
l~;r. Valkama explained that the bills that were to be vacated
from the roll were from the 1965 and 1966 Supplemental Personal
Property rolls and from the 1966 Original Personal Property roll.
Re also brought out the fact that if the assembly were to vacate
these bills it would not affect our beget because this is an
extra source of revenue and is not included when we make up our
annual beget.
After further discussion, Irlr. Jim Barr moved that the taxes as
shown on the two sheets titled sugguested vacations from the
1966 Supplemental tax roll and the 1965 Supplemental tax roll and
the 1966 Original Personal Property tax roll be vacated. The
motion was seconded by Betty Springhill sad carried by a unanimous
roll call vote.
