IV CASES FOR CONSIDERATION BY BOARD Case No. 30 Okey Chandler - Lot 2, USS 3099 Appellant presented case. Action deferred until end of meeting. Case No. 31 Okey Chahdler - Lot 3, Blk 6, Leite Addn Appellant presented case. Action deferred until end of meeting. Case No. 32 Walter Shuravloff - Lot 12, Blk 6, Leite Addn Appellant presented his case with the help of Okey Chandler. Action deferred until end of meeting. Meeting recessed at 9:30 p.m. and reconvened at 9:35 p.m. At this time, all cases having been heard, the Board took action as follows: Case No. 30 Okey Chandler - Lot 2, USS 3099 Mrs. Hajdu moved that the house be reduced in value to $18,000 and the lot remain as assessed. After short discussion, motion failed by roll call stote as follows: Yes - Mrs. Hajdu; No - Mr. Lester, Mr. Brechan, Mr. Wright. After further discussion, Mr. Brechan ~n~~ ~ Ii-~91n 1~ B.O.E. - May 16, 1966 2 Case No. 30 (cont'd) moved that the land fronting on tiission Road from Lot 1 USS 3099 to Spruce Cape be reduced in value to $6500 an acre, plus a decrement for swampy portions thereon, and to reduce the value of Mr. Chandler's house to $15,000. Seconded by Mr. Lester and carried by unanimous roll call vote. Case No. 31 Okey Chandler - Lot 3, Blk 6, Leite Addn Mr. Lester moved that an assessed valuation of $3500 be placed on the lot, and that the building remain as appraised by the Assessor. Seconded by Mr. Brechan and carried by unanimous roll call vote. Case No. 32 Walter Shuravloff - Lot 12, Blk 6, Leite Addn Mrs. Hajdu moved that only a token valuation be placed on this property for a total valuation of $500. Seconded by Mr. Brechan and carried by unanimous roll call vote. Case No. 33 Jan Beukers - Lot 11, Blk 1, Leite Addn N.r. Brechan moved that appraisal be placed same as last year's and that the house be reduced to last year's value. Seconded by Mr. Lester and carried by unanimous roll call vote. Case No. 34 James Zieba - Lot 16 & 17, Blk 50, East Addn Mr. Lester moved that the lots be valued at $3500 each. Seconded by Mr. Brechan and carried by unanimous roll call vote. Case No. 35 Joseph Jensen - Lot 9B, Blk 1, Townsite Case No. 36 Eli Metrokin - Lot 9A, Blk 1, Townsite Case No. 40 B. E. Nachtweih - Lot 12-B, Blk 1, Townsite Mrs. Hajdu moved hhat the lots in Cases 35, 36 and 40 be reduced in value by 30 percent. Seconded by Mr. Lester and carried by unanimous roll call vote. Mr. Lester moved that Mr. Metrokin's house (Case 36) be assessed at $16,000. Seconded by Mrs. Hajdu and carried by unanimous roll call vote. Case No. 37 Anthony Perez - Lot 30-D, Blk 1, Townsite Mrs. Hajdu moved that the lot be reduced in value to $1000 due to lack of access. Seconded by Mr. Brechan and carried by unanimous roll call vote. Case No. 38 Archie Hubley - Lot Part 4, B1k 16, Townsite Case No. 39 Isaac Hubley - Lot Part 4, Blk 16, Townsite Mr. Lester moved that the lots in Cases 38 and 39 be reduced in value to $2000 each. Seconded by Mr. Brechan and carried by unanimous roll call vote. Mr. Brechan moved that the house in Case 38 be appraised at $4650. Seconded by Mrs. Hajdu and carried by unanimous roll call vote. Case No. 16 Gene Tenny - Lot 3, Blk 4, Airpark Mr. Wright brought up this case for reconsideration by the Board. After discussion, Mr. Lester moved that the appraised price of Lot 3 Blk 4 Airpark be reduced to $4500, and that the remaining lots in the block be reduced proportionately. Seconded by Mr. Brechan and carried by unanimous roll call vote. V ADJOURNMENT There being no further cases on the agenda scheduled for the session, the meeting was adjourned at 10:40 p.m. to reconvene on May 18 at 8:00 p.m. W.A.S.
