At their meeting on November 19, 2025, the Kodiak Island Borough Planning and Zoning Commission voted 5-2 in favor to adopt Planning and Zoning Commission Resolution FY 2026- 009 approving a Variance to KIBC 17.175.040 by allowing the applicant to build 9'4" into the front yard setback for a second residence for Lot 10. LISS 2873 (1818 Mission Road) CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL 1. None. The Planning and Zoning Commission adopted the following finding of fact in support of their decision: FINDINGS OF FACT 1.
