A regular meeting of the Parks and Recreation Committee Regular Meeting was held on July
15, 2025, in the Borough Conference Room of the Kodiak Island Borough Building. The meeting
was called to order at 11:00 a.m.
CALL TO ORDER

Present were Brian Himelbloom, Tracy Chandler, James Arneson, and Stephen Paulson.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Paulson moved to approve the agenda.
Chandler seconds motion.
Paulson moved to add CIP to item #6 on the agenda.
Arneson seconds motion.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Chandler moved to approve the January 14, 2025, Meeting Minutes.
Arneson seconds motion.

• Arneson noted the good discussion and ideas that happened during the meeting.
• Paulson is looking forward to surveys and other future meetings

the borough and ITN on trails.
