A regular meeting of the Kodiak Island Borough Planning and Zoning Commission was held on
September 17, 2025, in the Borough Assembly Chambers. The meeting was called to order at
6:30 p.m. Staff present were Community Development Director Christopher French and
Community Development Secretary III Hailee Wallace.

Dagen moved to excuse those who were absent from the meeting.

The Planning and Zoning Capital Improvement Project List (CIP) Recommendations
for FY2026 through FY2030.

Case No. 25-008 - Request Variance on parking to allow three (3) onsite parking
spaces, varying two (2) parking spaces off site.

• Dagen appreciates the adaptability of the Vice Chair in getting through the meeting, he
also had questions about moving the agenda items around.
• Mangini apologized for missing the previous Work Session, applauded the commission
for the good work.
ANNOUNCEMENTS FROM THE CHAIR
a. The next Work Session of the Planning and Zoning Commission is scheduled for
Wednesday, October 8th, at 6:30 p.m. located in the Assembly Chambers.
b. The next Regular Meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission is scheduled for
Wednesday, October 15, at 6:30 p.m. located in the Assembly Chambers.
