Call to Order: 5:30
Commissioners Present: Jason Chandler, Billy Ecret-vice chair, Greg Egle-Chair, Dave
Heuman-Secretary, Jon Melin and Bill Roberts. One vacant position
Also in Attendance: Aimee Williams, KIB Manager
Approval of agenda by unanimous vote.
Approval of minutes by unanimous vote for:
1. Regular Meeting of July 1, 2025.
Citizen's Comments:
1. Aimee Williams; State Hydrology Study completed, but it will be Years before any
remediation plan is enacted.
Contractor Comments: No representatives present
Chairman's Report:
1. July Work
a) Grading @ Pan Ck Rd
b) Sgt Ck Rd Flooded, July 10, cones deployed
c) Tree removed on S Russ Ck Rd
2. Work orders
a) Brushing; Mid Bay Dr
b) Pothole fill; Alitak, BF Rd
c) Grading; Far Noch, Wms Bay, Gara
3. Budget updates; no update
4. Communications; none
Old Business:
1. Fire Dept
a) Brush Truck Recall pends scheduling w/ ferry trip
i) Moved to fund trip to Soldotna, NTE 10k
2. Road Service; none
New Business:
1. Fire Dept;
a) Approved issuance of a Credit Card for the Chief, to purchase gasoline and
miscellaneous
2. Road Service
a) Contractor Representation at meetings would be beneficial for communications and
full board input in scoping, planning and expectations.
Board Member Comments;
JM: Will review invoices re: tree removal
GE; Will insist on Contractor presence for next meeting
