ADVISORY BOARD
Present: Scott Arndt, Bill Swearingin, Barbara Swearingin,
Horace Simmons, Chief Smith. Absent, Bill Wever.
Meeting called to order at 7:40 on Jan. 3, 1986 by Chairperson

Agenda: Approved.
Minutes: Approved
Visitors: Andy Nault, Bob Himes, Dan Millard, Neva Johnson.
Visitor Report: Dan Millard presented and explained the proposed
sewer and water plan for Bayside Fire Station.
Financial Report:
Acknowledge receipt of financial report.
Communications: Letter of appreciation to Bob Himes for ETT class.
Letter of appreciation to Will Walton for ETT class.
Letter of resignation from Jim Beson.
Bill Wever moved we accept letter of resignation from Jim Beson.
Horace Simmons seconded, motion carried.
Letter of appreciation to Jim Beson from Chief Smith.
Volunteer Report: By Bob Himes, President of Volunteer Association.
Volunteers have formed a Safty committee. Members are Doug
Mathers, Artie Smith, and Dan Millard.
Old Business:
Consolidation discussed.
Chief's Report:
Officers School In Anchorage lasting one week. Bill Wever moved
we send Andy Nault, and authorize funds in the amount of $367.00
for trip. Horace Simmons seconded, motion carried.
Building Burning Policy: Finished document presented. Bill
Wever moved we accept it at this time. Horace Simmons seconded,
motion carried.

Schools: Arson Seminar, March 1986.
Spring Fire Chiefs Conference.
Suggest we bring ISO representative over for class and
advice.
Bill Wever moved we send one volunteer to the begining class of
the arson seminar, and one to the advanced class. Bill
Swearingin seconded, motion carried.
Plane on appointing one new officer
Mentioned ladder safty device.
