ADVISORY BOARD
Present: Scott Arndt, Bill Wever, Horace Simmons, Barbara Swearingin,
Bill Swearingin, Chief Smith.
The meeting was called to order at 8:p.m. November 28, 1984
by Scott Arndt, Chairperson.
Agenda: Approved
Minutes: Approved
Visitor: Will Walton, Chairperson for Bayside Volunteers
Financial Report: Acknowledge reciept of financial report.
Trip: $1219.00 for air fare, $850.00 for expenses, $272.00 ret.
Communication: Letter from Borough to Ms. Elizabeth Santoro
Re: unauthorized use of fire hydrants.
Letter to Gary Gibbons from Chief Smith. Re: New fire apparatus.
Volunteer report: Minutes attatched.
Old Business:
Snow on roof project progressing. Should be in place by Dec. 24, 1984.
Training Trailor: Still under discussion
Chiefs job discription: Horace Simmons working on project.
Tanker Emerson Diesel repaired kinked fuel line on tanker. Will
recheck in a few days, will also check engine 11.
Equipment: Equipment not yet recieved.
2 Hydrant adaptors
4" hose
2 gated relief valves
4 Scott packs (60 days direct to kodiak)
Check on second hand Scott bottles.
Pagers: 10 pagers with vinyl cases ordered. Vinyl cases as
durable and less expensive than leather.
Vehicle maintenance: Report by Bill Swearingin and Scott Arndt
on yearly schedule.

Smoke Eater: Horace Simmons moved we buy a new Smoke Eater not
to exceed $500.00 Bill Wever seconded. motion carried
Camera: Report by Chief Smith that the camera chosen by John Shank,
Bayside volunteer to be purchased from Camera West Co.
As Built: Not recieved but will be available to us by next meeting.
Visitors Comments: Discussed extended hydrant system.
Time of next meeting: December 26, 1984.
