ADVISORY BOARD
Present: Scott Arndt, Horace Simmons, Chief Smith, Barbara Swearingin.
The meeting was called to order at 7:50 p.m. on Oct. 5, 1984 by
Scott Arndt, Chairman.
Agenda Approved: Horace Simmons moved, Barbara Swearingin seconded.
Minutes Approved: Horace Simmons moved, Barbara Swearingin seconded.
Visitors: None
Financial Report: Acknowledge reciept of Financial Report.
Communication:
The,Board sent a letter to Jerome Selby, Borough Manager concerning
chiefs pay and job discription.
Chief Smith sent a letter to Lee Galigher concerning certification
for Volunteers Training Program.
Volunteer Report: None
Old Business:
Telephone Hot Line: Need to recheck cost. Advised to go ahead
with plan.
Training Trailor: Long discussion
Set Time for next meeting: October 31, 1984.

Tanker will be completed Oct. 28, 1984 and ready for shipment to
Kodiak. Possible shipping date November 15, 1984. Pick up and
delivery to be researched,

Snow buildup on roof, report by Horace Simmons.. Bill Wever moved
we go with 1k" galvinized pipe plan. Horace Simmons seconded,
motion carried.

Discussed capital outlay list 84-85. Bill Wever moved we go ahead
and purchase 4 items on capital outlay list.
1. TV. Vidio Recorder (training)
2. 20 ton jack (maintinance)
3. Studded tires for pickup.
4. Camera (investigation)
Horace Simmons seconded, motion carried.
Horace Simmons moved we continue Future Goals discussion at our
next meeting. Bill Wever seconded, motion carried.
