CALL TO ORDER: 7:10 PM Tuesday January 26, 1988.
PRESENT: Sid Cozart, Horace Simmons, Chief Earl Smith,and Charles
Lorenson.
AGENDA: Accepted.
VISITORS: Andy Nault, Dick Ingram, Bob Hines and Sharon Nault.
MINUTES: Approved and passed.
FINANCIAL REPORT: Water and sewer costs discussed and passed.
OLD BUSINESS:
A. Discussed audit report.
B. Watch the bids for sprinkler system as they come in.
C. Discussed grant for building addition to be sent to
State. -
CHIEF' S REPORT: A+td
A. Discussed fire book'slyearly reports.
B. New recruits go on line by February 10, 1988.
NEW BUSINESS:
A_._Grhief Smith sent for ISO rating request to lower costs
of fire insurance.
B. Horace discussed physicals the fire Department paid for.
OSHA requested physicals for people who wear air -packs.
It has been two years since last check-ups.
C. Request for hazardous material work sessions.
D. Cliief Smith requested new budget for 1188-89. Due
March 15, 1988.
VISITORS COMMENTS: Discussed a banquet for the Department on
February 19, paid for by the Board. Charles
made the motion, Sid seconded. Passed
unanimously.
