Fire Protection Area I, Advisory Board
Minutes of Meeting
PRESENT: Scott Arndt, Barbara Swearingin, Sid Cozart, Bill Swearingin,
Chief Smith, and Horace Simmons was present for the beginning
of the meeting, but after a discussion with the President, he
left the meeting.
Meeting called to order at 7:35 p.m. on June 25, 1987.
AGENDA: Approved.
MINUTES: Barbara Swearingin approved minutes, Bill Swearingin seconded,
and motion was carried.
VISITORS: Dixon Ingram, Dan Milard, Tony Perez, Ray Boutwell and Jim Fisk,
and Andy Nault.
FINANCIAL REPORT: Acknowledge receipt of monthly financial statement.
VOLUNTEER REPORT:
None
OLD BUSINESS:
None
CHIEF'S REPORT:
The cost of $750.00 to repair the door by Lou Snider was discussed.
Discussed gutters and downspouts at $2.50 per 1/ft. for gutters and
$2.10 for downspouts.
NEW BUSINESS:
Scott Arndt discussed the water system for Antone ?day or Otmeloi Way.
Barbara Swearingin moved and Bill Swearingin seconded to reconsider
the decission of Service District I regarding the Antone Way project
to be moved to Otmeloi Way and the balance to be used on the bottom
of Antone. Dan Milard, Tony Perez, Ray Boutwell and Jim Fisk were
at this meeting to discuss this topic.
VISITOR'S
Dan Milard discussed Service District I's fire hydrant maintenance.
COMMENTS:
Bill Swearingin is requesting a letter from Fire District I regardin€
what they want us to do with fire hydrant maintenance.
Andy Nault discussed the picnic.
Liability insurance insurance was discussed.
COMMENTS:
Personnel time was discussed. Also, personnel problems were
discussed.
