B. ROLL CALL: Chief Earl Smith, John Shank, Bill Swearinger, Sid
Cozart and Charles Lorenson.
C. ACCEPT AGENDA: Accepted.
D. VISITORS: Bob Hines.
E. MINUTES: Accepted.
F. FINANCIAL REPORT: Accepted.
G. OLD BUSINESS:
1. VEHICLE MAINTENANCE: Vehicle maintenance will be
completed as soon as the brakes,
shocks and exhaust system is
repaired on the Chief's truck.
2. BAPTIST MISSION; One fire hydrant has been installed
at the Baptist Mission and we are now
working on completion of water line.
H. CHIEF'S REPORT: Chief Smith presented the 1988 training hours,
from the department, to the Board for our review.
The department is having two (2) Recruit in
Classes, one (1) in the morning and one
in the evening. Look for completing the Recruit-
ing Program at the end of April.
February 13th and 20th will be Borough holidays
but the Station will remain open. The Chief will
trade days off later.
The Chief takes his hat off to the professionalism
of the Officers in the Bayside Fire Departmenttllll
During the cold spell the drain line on the washing
machine froze up, but all is fine now.
I. NEW BUSINESS:
1. TRAINING ROOM: The Board discussed the need for a
training room for classes and meetings.
2. BUDGET: The Board worked on the Budget Proposal for
next year.
J. VISITORS COMMENTS: Bob Hines discussed the need for a new
pick-up truck for hauling the dirty hose
and equipment from the fire site.
C. BOARD COMMENTS: None.
