BAYSIDE BOARD MEETING
OCTOBER 30, 1990
A. CALL TO ORDER: 7:30 PM. October 30, 1990.
B. ROLL CALL: Chief Earl Smith, Scott Arndt, John Shank, Vern Berns, Andy Nault
and Charles Lorenson.
C. AGENDA: Accepted.
D. MINUTES: Approved.
E. FINANCIAL REPORT: Accepted.
F. VISITORS: None.
G. ELECTION OF OFFICERS: Scott was elected President by John. Charles seconded.
Passed unanimously. Charles was elected Secretary.
H. NEW BUSINESS:
1. The Board discussed the dump fire. John made a motion to accept the
$10,000.00 from the Borough. Charles seconded. Roll call vote was
John (yes), Scott (yes), Charles (yes) and Vern (no).
2. The Board also discussed the Annexation Issue.
I. CHIEF'S REPORT: The Chief discussed the Fire Conference. Haz-Mat training
was very good for all attended. He also told of his Haz-Mat
training he received at the conference and the electrocution
call out.
Chief told of the radio he bought.
Chef received resignations from the following people:
Scott Johnson
Dixon Ingram
Jim Berg
J. BOROUGH ASSEMBLY: Charles made a motion to recommend that the Borough Assembly
adopt Resolution 90-68-R. John seconded. Charles (no),
Scott (no), Vern (no) and John (no). Motion failed 4-0.
The Fire Board recommends that the Borough Assembly KILLS
Resolutin 90-68-R and that they sit down and negotiate
with the Service Board on a policy.
K. VISITORS COMMENTS: None.
L. BOARD COMMENTS: John is very highly in favor of Annexation
