group with at an earlier Hate, the committee decided to add a state
ment to Mr. Ward's document regarding personnel records and reports
This statement will be added in writing at the next meeting.
The committee next took up the discussion of "leaves". Considerati
was given to the Fairbanks' Leave Policy in which annual and sick
leave are combined. Recommendation was made to allow Borough
employees the same total amount of leave (both sick and annual) tim
as they are now allowed under current Borough ordinance. The com=
mittee hoped to get some input from the Borough employees to guide
them in writing this document and the Secretary was asked to find
out how the employees felt about a combined annual/sick leave polic
statement. Mr. Wayne Coleman volunteered to write up the leave
policy document and present it to the committee. Concern was
expressed in watching the wording in the write up to avoid possible
misuse or abuse of the policy statement. This will be watched care-
fully.
