Chairman Wayne Coleman called the Architectural Review Board to order on Wednesday,
December 2, 1981 at 6:00 p.m. for the presentations to be made in regards to the
Island Lake Sewer and Water project. The following persons were in attendance:
Scott Arndt Phil Shealy Bill Beaty
Ron Chase Herman Beukers Dave Crowe
Wayne Coleman Ed Kozak Jim Olson
Art Bors Larry Chickering John Witteveen
Four fifty -minute presentations were made by CH2M Hill; Kramer, Chin $ Mayo; FRC
Consoer-Townsend and URS Company.
Upon conclusion of the formal presentations, the board met and after considerable
discussion scored the following four firms in order of preference (the lower the
score the higher the preference) with the following results after polling each
individual member: CH2M Hill - 29; Kramer, Chin $ Mayo - 16; PRC Consoer Townsend -
34; and URS - 11. Chairman Coleman then noted that the apparent preference of the
Architectural Review Board is to recommend URS Company to the Borough Assembly for
the engineering work in regards to the Island Lake water and sewer project.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 10:45 p.m.
