Regular meeting: October 23, 1986, @ 7:30 P.M.
Present: Williams, Perkins, Berry, Gondek,Tarrant,.Burt & Cobis
visitors: Dave Rittenhouse Jr., Jim Nagan and Meryl Muller
Chair Report:
1- Update on further groundless complaints from Mr. Hoen
2- Contractor has not come up with figures on money expended
on Prep Work prior to paving. Promised first of next week.
3- Mr. Nagan, School District, and Ms. Muller, bus company,
had some requests:
-corner of Kalsin Dr. and Middle Bay Dr. needs widening to
facillitate School Bus turning- no problem
-Kalsin Dr. hill needs guard rail- we will look into it
-corner of Middle Bay Dr. & Bells Flats Rd, needs brushing
no problem
Service Districts comments:
- please streamline School Bus turnaround procedure at the
corner of S. Russian Ck. Rd. & Osin Way
- find some way to tone down Strobes on School Busses
streetlights for bus stops are coming soon
Service District found discussions with Mr. Nagan and Ms.
Muller very productive, and thanked them for coming.
Old Business:
1- Mr. Rittenhouse- after lengthy discussion the Service
District again took the position that the problem is up
to Mr. Rittenhouse to fix. Mr. Williams offered the use of
his backhoe and his time, and the Service District donated
some old C.M.P. that had been removed during the paving
project. All parties appeared satisfied.
2- Streetlights- Berry will coordinate placement with Mrs.
Barber of the Community Council
3- Cross culvert on Kalsin not working properly, Chair will
notify contractor
4- Chair will have contractor:
-pick up 24" C.M.P.(old) at Burt's and drop off at
Rittenhouse's
-check problem at Lochman's driveway on Kalsin Dr.
-flesh out shoulders on paved roads to 1'

New Business:
1- Tarrant moves to study how to open up Alitak Dr. Cobis 2nds,
vote unanimous.
2- Gondek reports that K.E.A. has trashed a section of S. Rus-
sian Ck. Rd. while hooking up anew customer. Gondek will
contact K.E.A.
3- Tarrant will contact Mayor and tell him that he is willing
to serve on Borough Sewer Board.
4- Williams moves to authorize Chair to have K.E.A. install a
maximum of six(6) Streetlights thru Service District funds.
5- Gondek 2nds, vote unanimous.
5- Williams moves to investigate where guardrails are needed
on newly paved roads, and to ascertain if money is avail-
able from Paving/Prep funds. Cobis 2nds, vote unanimous.
6- Elections of Officers:
Chairman- Berry nominated, seconded and elected.
vice-Chairman-Cobis nominated, seconded and elected.
Secretary- Williams nominated, seconded and elected.
Next meeting: November 13, 1986
Cobis moves to adjourn, Gondek 2nds, vote unanimous.
