FY2025-02A AN ORDINANCE OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. FY2025-02, FISCAL YEAR 2025 BUDGET, BY AMENDING BUDGETS TO ACCOUNT FOR VARIOUS REVENUES THAT ARE OVER BUDGET, PROVIDING FOR ADDITIONAL EXPENDITURES, AND MOVING FUNDS BETWEEN PROJECTS WHEREAS, staff requests a transfer of $20,000 from the General Fund — Economic Development department to the Capital Project fund — Fisheries Development project for future use; and WHEREAS, staff requests a return of $30,000 from the Capital Project Fund - Seawater Storage & Filter Vessels project to the Kodiak Fisheries Research Center (KFRC) fund due to a change in project direction; and WHEREAS, staff requests a return of $52,335.45 from the Capital Project Fund — Exterior to the Kodiak Fisheries Research Center (KFRC) project due to the completion of the design phase of the project; and WHEREAS, staff requests a return of $11,537.95 from the Capital Project Fund — Structural Analysis & Project List Development project to the Hospital fund due to the completion of the project; and WHEREAS, staff requests a return of $692,482 from the Capital Project Fund — Fire Alarm Replacement & Upgrade project to the Hospital fund due to a change in project direction; and WHEREAS, staff requests a return of $22,051.51 from the Capital Project Fund — Baler Building UST Removal and Replacement project to the Solid Waste Collection & Disposal fund due to completion of project; and WHEREAS, staff requests a transfer of $250,000 from the Solid Waste Collection & Disposal fund to the Capital Project Fund — Leachate Aeration/LTP Pretreatment Upgrades project for additional work on upgrades. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH that: Section 1: This ordinance is NOT of permanent nature and shall NOT become a part of the Kodiak Island Borough Code of Ordinances.
