Port Lion City Council stating that tentative approval had been given on this rezoning. This action was not taken at a council meeting, elections were to be held soon and this item will be placed on the agenda for the first rteeting after the election. The Planning & Commission felt that the approval from the Council should not be tentative approval. :Ir. ?!allace roved to table this until word_ received from. the new City Council, seconded by rr. i'elch. The motion ntssed by unanimous roll call vote. The public hearing will be advertised for the next regular meeting of the Planning & Zoning Ccrmssicn. VII ZaNMTG r.LU.7S A. Motion passed by unanimous roll call vote. IX SLMDIVISICK FIP71I A. Final Plat, City of I:odiak, Sanitary Fill Site Survey. The plat was studied and area discussed. It was the c_oinion of the Commission that the Sanitary Fill shcula be free to all of the coma= ty and in this way people could be encouraged to use the Sanitary Fill Site rather than the roadsides for dumping of garbage. GEllis re Obstruction of View on 1,1ission Road and Cut-off Road by trailers. It was noted that the trailers in the Ilarding Trailer Court would obstruct the view of persons driving on ilission Road if more trailers are moved into the Court. Each trailer has a five foot high base and it is difficult to see whether or not traffic is caning dam the Cut -Off;. Road. During the daccussion it was pointed out that altlought the court has been approved for ten trailers the Hardys do not plan to have more than the seven already located there. The spaces for each trailer have been enlarged and the number will remain at seven. TRAILER PARK ORDIUMCE - it was suggested that the Planning & Zoning should check with the new assembly and arrange to have some work sessions by the Commission and owners of the Trailer Courts to draw up an ordinance that will assist those people desiring to establish trailer courts in this area. STREET NX-MZG AND HOUSE I4U3M=x7G. Mie Camdssion felt that this was also an area that should be taken care of by the Planning & Zoning Conanission. XII AUDIENCE Cal-iE US A. i1r. Clouse re Flooding of ni.ssion Road. ,tr. Clouse noted that an area of the Iiission Road is under water <_.id wondered what steps could be taken to have this alleviated. Although the Lorough does not have the road payer, it was suggested that a letter could he rsitten by the Borough to the State Hiatmtay department requesting that this matter be taken care of.
