1964-11-25 Special MeetingPLANNING & ZONING COMMIES. . SPECIAL MEETING - NOV. 25, 1964 The meeting was called to order at 12:10 p.m. by Chairman Johnson in the courtroom. Commissioners present: Borough Chairman Powell, Jim Barr and Art Zimmer. Chairman Powell stated that he called this special meeting to expedite part of the agenda not taken up at the regular Planning & Zoning meeting, Nov. 18, 1964 due to a lack of a quorum. Mr. Art Zimmer proposed a resubidvision of Lots 12 & 1ZA of U.S.S. #3219 Island Lake Subdivi- ion, to one lot, in order to have a suitable piece of property to put a single family dwel- Lng on it. After a discussion Commissioner Kraft made the motion to approve the proposed resubdivision of lots 12 & 12A, U.S.S. #3219 to one lot. Seconded by Commissioner Duros, the question called for, a voice not taken and the motion carried unanimously. Mr. Zimmer asked if it would be possible to build -on the lots without resubdividing them. The commissioners concurred that this could be done. At this time Mr. Zimmer withdrew his proposal to resubdivide. Commissioner Kraft, seconded by Commissioner Duros moved to recind the action taken on Mr. Zimmer's request for approval of resubdivision of Lots 12 & 12A, U.S.S. #3219. The minutes of the previous meeting, November 4, 1964, were considered and approved unani- mously as read. Verlyn R. Geriene requested approval to place a 10' x 52' Industrial Trailer, to be used as a temporary drycleaning plant, on Lot 16, U.S.S. #3099. Commissioner Lamme made the motion to approve Mr. Geriene's request. This trailer is to be placed on Lot 16, U.S.S. #3099 on a temporary basis not to exceed two years and will be ubject to removal within 60 days after notice. Seconded by Commissioner Kraft and nanimously carried by a voice vote. James Barr submitted for approval the resubdivision of Lots 53, 54, 55 and 153, Block 7 of Erskine Subdivision. ~Commissioner Franklin suggested the portion of Lot 153 which juts into Mill Bay Road be dedicated. This would bring the lot line in conformity with the adjacent lots. After a lengthy discussion Commissioner Lamme made the motion to approve the preliminary plat of the resubdivision of Lots 53, 54, 55 and 153, Block 7, Erskine Subdivision. Seconded by Commissioner Kraft, the question called for, a voice vote taken and the motion carried unanimously. The Commissioner concurred and recommended that the -City obtain a portion of Lot 153, Block 7, Erskine Subdivision in order to straighten Mill Bay Road. Mr. Barr submitted H. Legrue's preliminary plat of Lot 1, Block 4, U.S.S. #3066AB for approval. Commissioner Franklin moved that the preliminary plat of H. Legrue be approved as presented provided that the zoning and offstreet parking regulations are provided. Commissioner 'luros seconded the motion and it carrie unanimoudy by a voice vote. :hairman Powell asked the Commission to consider rezoning Block 1, Airpark Subdivision at their next regular meeting.
