The final plat of the subdivision was presented by Alaska Division of Lands with Claude Hoffman present to represent them. It was reiterated that if sale of the large units was not successful, then the original proposed subdivision would be made and private sales of four lots to individuals would be made. Commissioner Franklin asked if these trailers were to be sold during the pest period. Mr, Jackson stated that he had no financial interest in the trailers themselves. Upon a. roll, eal.l vote, Commissioner Sutliff, Juel:son, and Felton voted aye; Franklin voted no, the motion thereby carrying. C. Holland Subdivision extension of time, The request for an extension of time for submission of final plat on Lot P, USS 3218, was submitted. Cormnissioner Sutliff revved that the extension be granted for a three month Period. Seconded by Conmaissioner Fran1din and carried unanimously* KIBS272436 P & Z Commission - July 7, 1965 Page 2 D. Erdman temor.ary trailer pLrmi 4 -t- A request for a temporary permit to place a 10 x 56 trailer on Lot 4 1 , USS 3100 was ade- Mr. Erdman stated that there are presently three trailers on this lot and that the sanitary facilities had been approved by the state sanitarian. Commissioner Franklin moved that this request be granted on a temporary basis not to exceed two years from March 27, 1964 provided that the approval of the sanitarian be obtained in writing. Seconded by Commissioner Felton and carried unanimously on roll call vote. E. Nestell temorawPtiiEy,_trailer .permit. A request for per missionto move a trailer onto Lot 22, USS 3099 was tabled by motion of Coumili-ssioner Felton until a representative 'is present. Seconded by Cormassioner Juelson and carried unanmously. F. Larionoff vacation of street. A request for vacation of an alley in USS 3099 was tabled by motion of Co m issioner Franklin until the petition is properly signed and in proper order. 'CormTdissioner Felton seconded and carried unanimously. Upon receipt this is to be referred to the Borough Engineer for a report. G. Kenneth Anderson --- rezoning, request. A request by Mr. Anderson for rezoning a portion of USS 1822 mmed by the American Baptist Home Mission Societies from Residential Unclassified to Industrial for the purpose of establi-shing a concrete precastingplant was read. Conmissioner Felton moved to return the petition for submission by the American Baptist Home Mission Societies. Seconded by Conmdssioner Sutliff. H. Wriaht rezoMJ*-!jg.-.reqEest- A request for rezoning of Lots 28, 2, and 29B, USS 3098 from Residential Unclassified to Business was read. Commissioner Felton moved that the request be approved for public hearing. Seconded by Commissioner Sutliff and carried unaxLimously. v. I. American Legion re nest for leasing of land. There being no representative present, Commissioner Felton moved that it be tabled until the next meeting. Seconded by Commissioner Franklin and carried unanimously.
