Barr, Borough Engineer, Bill Poland and Attorney Madsen. III Elect a Permanent Chairman Comnissioner Edris nandonated George Cornelius for Chairman, got on by Commissioner Eiris nominations close. Seconded by Conmissioner Franklin. Unanimous ballot cast by voice vote. Conmdssioner Ur elected Deputy chairman by unanimous ballot. IV �dmute s of previous meeting - July 28., 1965 The minutes of July 28, 1965 were read and approved as read. V Communications and Appearance Requests A. Dora Kramer - variance in front setback requirements. A letter from ors. Kramer was read. Commissioner Sutliff moved approval of variance request. The motion was withdrawn by Cornm*ssioner Sutliff as he said it is not needed under the Ordinance, Conma*ssioner Urie moved granting as exception rather than variance, pending the Borough Attorney's opinion. Commissioner Franklin seconded, Voice vote was unaninious. Commissioner Urie moved if opinion states it is a variance, that a public hearing be held. Comussioner Franklin seconded. Voice ce vote was unanlzous. B. Walter Nestell - teMporarE_ trailer Pendir�ff . The Borough Engineer's .... .reRort report was read. Mr. Barr gave verbal report also. Commissioner Sutliff moved to table the request until drain field is installed. Commissioner Edris seconded. Voice vote was unanimous. Mr. Barr was directed by the Chaiman to inform Mr. Nestell, C. Baranof Heights - Final Plat. L letter frori. Baranof Heights Inc. surveyor, 1hr. Best, was read. , r. Best and 1r. Lounsbury spoke on seTvrer and play- ground space. Mr. Hubbard offered playground space, Commissioner Uri moved acceptance of Baranof Heights Inc. Subdivision subject to (1) Completion of final mono rientations and stall -Ling prior to recording (2) provision of a suitable playground adjacent to the final plat area and (3) legal vacation of Baranof Heights Subdivision No. 1. Seconded by Commissioner Edris, Voice Vote was unanimous. Connissioner Duros moved public hearing on vacation of plat be in next ten days. Seconded by Connissioner Juelson. Voice vote was unanimous. (P.S. Borough Attorney should be consulted on legal procedure for plat vacation.) D. Gene Holland - Final Plat, Borough Engineer stated he received a copy of plat at 4:30 p.m. today. Conmissioner Sutliff moved acceptance of final plat subject to review of Borough Engineer. Seconded by Commissioner Franklin, Voice vote was unanimous.
