The minutes of August 4, 1965 were read and approved as read.
IV Connunications and Appearance Requests
A. 1.,dldred Markham - Buildigg Pennit. 1,11ildred gar khaxnifs letter requesting
rezoning of Lots 3 and 4, Block 1, Allman Addition front Residential to
Comercial was read. Commissioner Franklin moved tabling and Conunissioner
Duros seconded. Voice vote was unanimous. Commissioner Franklin moved to
get legal opinion on spot rezoning from Borough Attorney. Conmdssiioner
Edris seconded. Voice vote was unanimous.
B. 11equest from Frank Irick ' � referred ron, City -Council,, Lots 8 and 9 and
10., Block 3. New Kodiak Subdivision presently zoned water oriented business.
Twenty motel units and office requested. Commissioner Franklin moved in
view of Section 10 of Ordinance., re: Additional Uses, this group go on
record favoring Irickts request. Commissioner Juelson seconded. Roll call
vote was unanimously in favor.
C, Blk, 3L New Kodiak Sub. - final plat - with exceptions. Borough Engineer's
report was read. Comissioner Juelson moved that conditional final
approval be given plat. Comndssioner Duros seconded. Voice Vote was
unanimous.
D, Blk, 2., New Kiodiak pub. --_Preliminary plat,. Borough Engineer ls report was
read. Engineer Barr recoirmended rear access road be added. Conmdssioner
Edris moved acceptance of prelindnary plat With Engineer'Barris reconmendation

would need adequate water supply and sewage disposal facillities . Comissioner
Franklin was excused for a Prior engagement and left at 9:10 pomo
Commissioner Edris moved that preliminary subdivision plat be approved with
access to each lot of minimuzi of 20 feet width pending approval of Borough
Assertibly of road width variance. Comm*ssianer Juelson seconded. Voice
vote was unanILMOUS, Sanitary sewer f"acilit .es must be provided.

Juelson seconded. Voice vote was unanimous.

Cornelius moved I-nvitation of state personnel to sit in on next meeting
to discuss park plans be extended. Commissioner Duros seconded. Voice
vote was unanimous.

Section on Baranof Heights action was read.
IX Audience Participation
Mr, JULI Stansbury appeared with a letter from, the City Engineer rem
building permit for lot 77., Erskine Subdivision. Mr. Stansbury requested
an exception for rear lot requirements as only 18.3 feet is available.
Commissioner COrnelius moved that request be considered as exception as
per section 20 of Ordinance No. 64�5 and that exception be granted# Conmdssionear
Durns seconded. Voice vote was unanin.-Ous.
